Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a great area within walking distance of various tourist spots and away from the busy tourist crowds. The rooms were clean, comfortable, but a bit cold due to a sealed window. The service, though with a short period of unavailability, was understanding. The dining, albeit a bit pricey for standard fare, was held in a magnificent room. The location offers easy access to the Central Business district and attractions like Fench Quarter and Bourbon St
The hotel had an awful mildew smell but was incredibly small with no space for a chair and seating area like that featured on the website. However, the location was great as far as the proximity of the hotel to the things I wanted to do and places I wanted to go. The service was very friendly and helpful for transportation but also included rude and lazy individuals. The dining experience was a major hit, always fun, and the home-made organic products were great.
The hotel offered comfortable rooms, yet a bit musty. The ambience was disturbed by loud guests at odd hours. The service was outstanding but hindered by noisy surroundings. Location was convenient for exploring but lacked warmth. Dining was somewhat overpriced for standard fare.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, although in need of a refurbishment, had some redeeming qualities like a cold refrigerator, a Keurig machine, and contemporary decor from recent renovations. The service was a mix of curt interactions and super nice and helpful gestures. The location was decent and convenient, especially for business travelers wanting access to the French Quarter and Canal Street. Dining was a major hit, offering delightful options and great food. The facilities were satisfactory during my stay.
The hotel is tucked away from the main hustle and bustle but still conveniently within walking distance to everything. The rooms were comfortable, and my stay was pleasant overall. However, there were some loud and drunk patrons that disrupted the tranquility. The service provided, especially by Michelle at the front desk, was terrific and very helpful in planning our days. The location was great for exploring the city, close to Bourbon Street and other attractions. The hotel exudes a lovely Southern grandeur atmosphere that adds to its charm, and the smell around the property is delightful. The dining experience, although within the hotel and convenient, was not worth the price and could use improvement in efficiency. Overall, a beautiful location with friendly staff but with room for some enhancements.
The hotel is in a great location, offering convenience and comfort. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The dining experience offered delicious options, but some wished for more variety. The location was ideal for exploring the city, being walking distance from main attractions, yet not too close to the lively Bourbon Street.
My stay at the hotel was a bit disappointing overall. While the room was clean and looked as expected from the pictures, it felt a bit cramped. However, the lack of dining room and the breakfast brought in from an outside place made the experience quite disappointing. It seems like the hotel has lost its historical charm and now resembles a standard motel. I don't think I'll be returning.
